Wordpress has announced the availability of WordPress version 2.6.5. The release basically comes with bug fixes and security fixes. The release has been announced at a time when everyone is keenly waiting for the newer and final WordPress 2.7 the beta of which is still doing the rounds.
If you are worried about security or are facing some showstopper bugs, it may be a time for an update. Others may want to wait for the more robust WordPress 2.7.
