We are pleased to announce Google Site Rank plugin for WordPress. Google Site Rank is a WordPress plugin which reports your WordPress site’s Google Page Rank against a set of keywords of your choice. This helps you to keep a track of your website’s SEO rank for long-tail or any keywords of your choice.
The plugin was developed on top of SEO Spy by LaLiamos Estudio Design SEO. The first issue was translating the plugin into English. We finally moved onto bugfixing and realized that the plugin was not returning the neutral SERPS but was using the default personalized web search results. Once that was fixed, we discovered a critical bug — the plugin would not show the ranking if you ranked #1. This made us wonder why we ranked on page 5 when our actual ranking was #1 for a certain query. Fixed! The final part was to re-design the dashboard widget and make it usable with pleasant cosmetic changes.
By default the plugin shows your websites rank, you can though configure it to show the rank of any other website against a set of keywords of your choice. Remember, do not refresh frequently else you risk getting your IP banned by Google. After saving the settings click refresh and the updated results appear on the dashboard widget.
