Wordpress has released the RC1 of Wordpress 2.7. The abbreviation RC stands for Release Candidate. Release Candidates are more stable than beta releases and do not undergo any changes unless any showstopper bugs are discovered. This version has several fixes for the new admin interface as well as contains icons in the admin interface. You must backup your blog before you upgrade. You can download Wordpress 2.7 RC1 here.
