Websitegrader — How To ‘grade’ Your Website

September 28, 2008

website grader

I know you want to rush so I’ll keep this one short and sweet. WebsiteGrader is a site that allows you to generate a marketing report for your website. It also allows you to compare two different sites, so if you are competing with another blog you want to head to WebsiteGrader. Once it generates a report it gives you the score seal that you can place on your site. The service is free.

The report generation takes a little while since the report is pretty comprehensive. It classifies items into several main categories which contain other items. Here’s a list of the items in the marketing report.

  1. On-Page SEO
    1. Metadata
    2. Heading Summary
    3. Image Summary
    4. Interior Page Analysis
    5. Readability Level
  2. Off-Page SEO
    1. Domain Info
    2. Google PageRank
    3. Google Indexed Pages
    4. Last Google Crawl Date
    5. Traffic Rank
    6. Inbound Links
    7. DMOZ Directory
    8. Yahoo! Directory
    9. ZoomInfo
  3. Blogosphere
    1. Blog Analysis
    2. Blog Ranking
    3. Recent Blog Articles
  4. Social Mediasphere
    1. del.icio.us bookmarks
    2. Digg.com Submission Summary
  5. Converting Qualified Visitors to Leads
    1. RSS Feed
    2. Conversion Form
  6. Competitive Intelligence
    1. Keyword Grader
    2. Score Summary
    3. Historical Data Available
