After receiving massive requests I've just updated the compatibility of colorfultabs beta version to work with the Firefox 3 beta 4 released recently. Also here's a quick link for the ones using Firefox 3 beta 4 to install the updated colorfultabs. In case you have any queries, feel free to report.

Beta 5 release is out. Would love to see it compatible with that one.
Save the add-on file.
Open that .xpi file with whatever "unzip" program you use.
Use a text editor (like notepad) to edit "install.rdf" in this way: where it says maxversion="3.0b4" change it to 3.0b5
Save the changes both with notepad and with your unzip utility.
Use Firefox to open the .xpi file.
Works like a charm.

I'm trying to install Colorfultabs in Firefox/3.0 Flock/2.0b1 on an iMac. Is there a compatible version? URL please?

The Flock version is available at ColorfulTabs for Flock.
