"Keep It Simple Stupid" they say. The average site visitor is still more comfortable reading a paper than reading something on screen. Believe it. Now with all that very useful and lot of information, how long do you wish to keep the average visitor glued to the screen? To the bottom of the page?
- Here's a first. Get the message out in the first paragraph of the post. This will strengthen the bond of communication between you and your subscribers. It sets the record straight and makes meaning.
- In case you have a subject that justifies a lot of content, always try to capture that user's interest and attention in the initial words. That way you make sure you don't waste their quality time.
- Cover your subject in a series of posts. This is a common practice followed nowadays. This comes with a perk. It captures the readers' attention and arouses their curiosity. They anxiously wait for the second post.
