Does not work with Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and FF 3.0b5
Same experience as Marcus.
No go on Ubuntu 8.04 and FF 3.0b5
Works fine on Ubuntu 8.04, FF 3.0b5.
Installed aditional Add-On's: NoScript-1.6.4, Adblock Plus-0.7.5.4, DownThemAll!-1.0.1
Using Theme: ClassicCompact.
Ok, ColorfulTabs works only with the Theme ClassicCompact on my computers. Useful hint?
Nico: Yes
I can only guarantee that colorfultabs works with classic theme and with no extensions.
One would be lucky to have it work on the fancy rainbow theme with 768 extensions.
No luck on Ubuntu 8.04 and FF 3.0b5.
Disabled all extensions, using default theme, but it's not working
With the theme Classic Compact, I managed to have it running with all my extension including tab mix plus, but it does not work with the default theme
YES - surprisingly so. I was pleasantly amazed and think it great. Good job guys.
Many thanks - it's a great add-on and works fine on XPProSP2. Restful on the eyes and a speed boost with using multiple tabs. Shades of the same colour are a great help working with different views of the same root url.
An additional feature that I would find very useful would be the ability to set up specific urls so that they would always open with the same colour tab.
I normally work with 4 or 5 sets of related tabs open and while 2/3 of each set would be constant the others can vary over sub-sets of up to ten or more.
Colour coding the core urls has already speeded things up over a simple session restore but the tabs opened during the session get a random colour.
The coloured tabs are a huge improvement over monochrome tabs and consistent colour coding could help speed-up the location of related tabs and cut down on duplicate tabs.
A quick hack enabling a manually created text file to be used with a forced all tab refresh would be a big time saver.
