How to create PDFs with Google Docs

There are plenty of services available now a days which help you create PDF documents. I am going to tell you about one such free on-line service that would help you create a PDF file on the fly. You can create a PDF file wherever you have an Internet connection and access to “Google docsonline.

Register with Google Mail and you are all set up and ready to go. In your default mail application, Gmail window, you will notice at the left top corner, «Documents» usually the third in the row. Click on it and it would open a new tab or window depending on your browser and settings.

From the tool bar, select File and from the drop down list choose Document (Well, I am presuming here that you would like to create a text document). A new document opens. Now begin to write what ever it is that you wanted to. You can format your text, insert images, add colors to the fonts, highlight them and in general do almost everything that you want to do.

OK, now you are done with creating your document. Go back to file and click on it. The drop-down list opens before you and you can see a “Download as” as one of the options. “Download as” options has HTML (Zipped), OpenOffice, PDF, RTF, Text and Word.

Choose PDF and save it your desktop.

Voilà , there you have your PDF file. What’s more, you can always edit the document until you have the perfect PDF file that you wanted.

Thanks never knew about it.I thought that you have to use some sort of converter to convert those docs to PDFs.But know Google Docs will do the same job without charging anything. Thanks for the information.
