Surprising as it is Google has released Google Chrome - Google’s own browser. Excellence and innovation - almost synonymous with Google come to the mind as you open up the browser for the first launch. It’s a slick interface quite like safari with a build-in DOM inspector. The browser is a minimalist design with all the popular features like session restore, multiple homepages, home page in new tab, inbuilt Google Gears support. It also comes with developer features like a JavaScript debugger and a JavaScript console. The surprise feature here is the Task Manager - yes the browser has a task manager which lists the memory, CPU and network usage of each tab and that of the browser overall. A link titled “stats for nerds” takes you to a verbose screen making you either feel like a nerd or a layman. The browser like all other popular browser flaunts a tabbed interface with dark sky blue Window borders.
Amongst other features the tabs can be duplicated, child tabs of a tab can be closed, and more as you explore. The browser at the first glance is impressive and its minimalist looks imply that the browser is far from finished yet ready to make a debut. Google Chrome is open sourced. Hopefully we will get to hear more about the browser as we become more familiar with it. Get started with Google Chrome. Also read Google’s announcement on The Official Google Blog.

Finally getting a browser from Google. Enough with Firefox. I’m impressed with everything Google came up with so far. Next is to add video to googletalk and they will be on the top again.
“We are so, so happy with Google Chrome,” mumbled Mozilla CEO John Lilly through gritted teeth. “That most of our income is from Google has no bearing on me making this statement.” - http://notnews.today.com/?p=57
i’m willing to try it out just to see if it works more efficiently than FireFox… if it’s faster than Firefox, has tabs and isn’t IE, then i’ll use it
It’s made of webkit - the same thing used to build safari. I’m sure it is going to be fast. It doesn’t have addons and themes - the main reason why Firefox gets pulled to its knees.
Yes yes yes and hell NO! Let’s all rush to use a googles web browser. Hell now they have cleared up the issue of why their web tracking cookie last’s a million years and can’t be deleted from your cache! Now they don’t need an excuse. Just use their web browser and it’s all right there for them to view! Besides, it’s still in beta. Theirs allready security threats with it. Nah.. have faith I tell myself. The day I switch to Google is the day I’m forced to use their OS Google X.
It has finally come.Google Chrome. They are the most trafffic filled site and didn’t have a browser it now. I hope it supports CSS 3.0 in the future. Get those boder radius in those web pages
