Hiya it possible to pre load a new tab with a web page of your choice.
Like when you click on new tab it opens with a Google page every time ?

Yup there is an addon specifically for that... open homepage on new tab.

yes. search for tree style tabs or tab mix plus.

I had in mind a horizontal tree, but this does the trick as well.
