Wonderful addition - two suggestions for improvement
-
Great addon for keeping track of tabs and the overall effect is great!
Some suggestions:
1) Some tabs end up dark and other light which works out say half the time. To improve the readability of the text it would probably help to pick a contrasting color for the text
2) The close symbol (X) easily disappears. Try making it bolder so that it is easier to find
3) To make the active toolbar more visible consider making the text bolder and widening the actual tab -
As I already wrote in another post, in my opinion, a thin (maybe 1 pixel) contrasting-color line delimiting the active tab (to some extent similar to ActiveWindow border, in XP desktop classic style, settable in AdvancedAppearance) would fit better. If you would remember, default color of ActiveWindow was red, but user could change it (could change also the pixel width of that line) ; maybe you can make color settable.
In my opinion, this would make much more "visible" the active tab than the actual way : now the active tab has a white edge. Even if you would set it by default to be red (so with no options to the user) would improve usability : a strong, contrasting difference would make it easier to spot. This would make much more "visible" the active tab -- would make it easier to spot.
Even if the line on the edge would be "simply red" (so, without color choices available for the user) : I think usability would be improved.I am grateful for the work you do,

Still hoping that Administrator / Developer will consider as useful enough feature (and to spend time and energy with) : enabling one of several possible methods to highlight ActiveTab.
