Just downloaded the newest Thunderbird with tabs... MISS my colorful tabs. Are they coming?

This addon is indispensable to me. In Seamonkey 2.2 and 2.3 the only version that works well is the 4.8.1.6.1 (+ Compatibility Reporter) but with one detail: the band is not as pictured below (very helpful). It would be possible to solve this little detail? Thank you very much! Seamonkey 2.* :-/ Seamonkey 2.0* :-)

Hi, I think it would be nice if you could have separate color schemes for pinned apps, perhaps one of the schemes being the default tab color, which in itself would provide a second feature of being able to toggle off the coloring of pinned app tabs. I use a dark theme, so the coloring of the icons on the pinned apps made them less visible.

I've been using ColorfulTabs for over a year and I find it a great addition to Firefox -- with many tabs open it's much easier to distinguish between them. One feature request that might make ColorfulTabs even more useful for me and others: Adding a small number of preset colors *directly within* the context menu for quick color changes. I often find myself manually selecting a color for a tab -- bright red or green for emphasis, say. Currently this requires several mouse clicks and motions: -- right-click tab -- move mouse to "ColorfulTabs" context menu -- click "Tab Color" -- click on the color field in the resulting "Select a Color" menu (or enter numeric RGB values) -- click on a specific color -- click "OK" / press Return If users could define a few preset colors that would appear in the context menu, that would save time -- all you'd have to do would be right-click a tab, go to the context menu, and select "Preset 1" (for example - maybe users could name the presets, much like naming Thunderbird colored message labels). The context menu might then look something like this: * Tab Color * Reset Color * Options * Preset 1 (Red - Important) * Preset 2 (Green - Emphasis) * Preset 3 (Purple - Funny) Actual preset colors would be defined in the Options menu. Then, selecting a present would mark the tab with the preset color. I hope the request was described clearly, and thanks for your work on the extension. The changes made to tabs in Minefield/3.7a5pre have broken ColorfulTabs 4.3. The tabs become colored if highlighted/hovered over with the mouse, but otherwise fail to color automatically, and on subsequent reloads or opening of new tabs will not maintain coloring. I have tried this on a clean install, and I have tried older versions of your plugin, all to no success. If your interested in trying to fix this I would be more than happy to assist you with testing. Cheers Cam.

Hi, my Versions are: FF 3.5 with Theme Black Steel 1.2.2 WinXP pro sp3 FF-Addons: ColorfulTabs 3.9.2 Copy All Url 0.9.0 Download Statusbar 0.9.6.5 DownloadHelper 4.5 FEBE 6.1 HostPermissions 09.01.18.01 ColorfulTabs-config / activated settings are: generate colors by domain hostnames fadinglevel 4 enable context menu on the tabs enable preset domain colors (with different url) ----------- i have specified many colors to any URLs, but all tabs are not colored. if i colored a tab in the contextmenÃ¼, i see the color, but after i restarting firefox, all colors are not visible. i tried the other setting in "coloring scheme"/"general". both other options works fine. can anyone help me? other litle problem: how do i set a color in hex? which format? hex(#00FF00) ? sincerely p.s. sorry for my broken english!

No terminology will please everyone, but I would suggest the following as the least likely to cause offence and also the most accurate. I am aware of a variety of disabilities and medical conditions where ColorfulTabs may be useful, including dyslexia, Meares-Irlen Syndrome, and any condition causing concentration or memory problems. "Save color." Because sometimes a color you really really like comes up and you want to use it again. There might be an option to do that. Also to get the hex code of a color.

I use the add-on AnyColor, its an add on that customizes your FireFox's colors and appearances. Well, I recently added the ColorfulTabs add-on only to find out that it did not work with the AnyColor add-on. To say the least it was highly disappointing. I think that this should be fixed. I love the AnyColor add-on but I love the Colorful Tabs add-on too. I want to be able to use both and obviously I can't. I shouldn't have to give up one add-on in order top use another.
