Why won't the favicon appear on the tab? I only get a blank white sheet of paper next to the tab text. This really affects the look and the distinctiveness of the tab, even with the different colors. I am using some other add-ons, can't anything be done?

Colorful tabs version 4.8.1.6.1 (current)

If I have no tabs opened and I click a web link from a location other than the browser (for example an email in thunderbird) firefox opens the page in a new tab but there are no closing buttons for those tabs! Only if I click to open a new tab from within firefox closing button are being displayed. My firefox version is 4.

I disabled colorful tabs and did the same check and firefox worked fine, there were closing button on the tabs. So, it is a Colorful tabs bug.

Sometimes the tabs colors are very close to each other (e.g. multiple shades of blue), as you might expect if the colors are chosen truly randomly. These occurrences make it slightly difficult to quickly determine which tab is open, especially when the tabs are adjoining.

Could the tab color selection process be improved to ensure that there is a reasonable contrast in tab colors for better identification by dispersing the colors across the visible spectrum, sort of a random rainbow effect?

Thanks. It's a great Firefox add-on.

How do I make the close button (little X) on the active tab show up in red? That's the way it is on my work PC running WinXP but I can't make it do that on my home PC running Vista. Using FF 3.5.x. Is this even a Colorful Tabs feature?
