Is this is a problem with ColorfulTabs or Firefox? Which version of Firefox and ColorfulTabs are you using?

Firefox says update available, but when I try I get Error -228 - they are working, just don't know if they have been updated or not. Thanks

Of course it works on an empty profile. As far as I can determine, the conflict is with the MACOSX theme. I don't know what you changed between 4.0 and 4.1, but since I need the theme more than I need 4.1, I'll stay with 4.0.

Create a new Firefox profile and install ColorfulTabs 4.1 into it. Verify if it still doesn't work.

FF configuration attached. CT4.0 works fine, CT4.1 fails with default options.

I installed ColorfulTabs 4.1 on Mac leopard. I verified that it works on Firefox 3.5.5 and Firefox 3.6 beta 4. If you are having issues please reply with a list of other addons and themes you are using and the options you have selected in ColorfulTabs.

Same problem with the current FF3.6b4. In theory, this type of extension should be platform-independent. Whatever you "fixed" between 4.0 and 4.1 broke something else. Too bad, it was a nice addon. Note that you don't need an Apple computer to run OSX. Any Intel CPU with SSE3 will do.

FF 3.55 on MacOS 10.6.2 ("Snow Leopard). CT v4.0 worked fine, v4.1 doesn't regardless of how I tried tweaking the settings. See attached screenshots. Reverted back to 4.0.
