I like FfChrome, toggled in Chrome mode. On a new tab or window, is there any way to display the screnshots of the 8 most visited sites, like Chrome does?

Right-click on any tab. From the menu, select: ColorfulTabs >> Options Or, you can use Firefox's main menus: Tools >> Addons >> ColorfulTabs >> Options

Only way I know of at present is to revert from the latest version 4.3 (February 27, 2010) to the previous version 4.2 (January 30, 2010). Go to <a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/versions/1368" rel="nofollow">https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/versions/1368</a> and (re-)install the earlier version.

+1 This has been bugging me for months. Refreshing the tab doesn't restore the color for me. Choosing the Re-Color option assigns a random color to the tab, rather than a color based on the hostname (the coloring scheme that I have selected).

+1 It's blinding and actually makes it harder to find the tab that I'm looking for. Please provide a setting to disable this feature.

The drop down list of tab names, where you can jump to different tabs, is now colored the sames color as the tab. This makes it really difficult to read the tab name, and is oddly far more visually distracting than colorful tabs. Is there anyway at all to change this back to black and white?

My problem is similar to this except that I still have colorful tabs installed. However, every time I start Firefox the page at the following url opens: 'http://ct.binaryturf.com/software-install.php?v=4.3'. I close the tab immediately and it is definitely closed when I shut down Firefox but it just keeps coming back every time I restart Firefox. It is definitely NOT my homepage! I'm running Vista Home Premium SP2 on one computer and XP SP2 on another. This problem has been occurring on both OS with all recent versions of FF 3.5 and with v3.6. I've been using Colorful Tabs for some years and am currently using Colorful Tabs 4.3. However, after many weeks of this problem, I'm considering uninstalling Colorful Tabs. I appreciate the work you've done in creating this extension and really hope someone can come up with a solution so I don't have to uninstall it.

It would really help to pick out the active tab from among a whole lot of tabs if that little strip that carries the tab color all the way across the top of the active window was made thicker. It's just a bit too thin and hard to see, especially at high resolution, and against other tabs of a similar color, but with transparency of inactive tabs increased and that strip thickened, even tabs the same color would be easier to differentiate from the active tab. Hope this is in the works!

I am using SeaMonkey and the current tab will not highlight even though it is checked in the options menu. By highlight I mean that I am looking for a small red square as in Firefox. Any thoughts on what I acan look for?

Hello. Is it me or does ColorfulTabs v4.2 does not have italicized fonts for unvisited loaded tabs? I miss that feature. Also, is there a way to exclude specific tab colors like dark blue? Thank you in advance. :)

I installed a theme for Firefox. Now most of the tab colors are blocked out by the theme's color. Only a sliver of the color appears at the top of the tab. Is there a fix?

Gentlemen, I'm not completely color blind, but I do not see either reds or greens normally. I've studied color vision, a LITTLE. I use colorful tabs primarily because it helps me to see the tabs, due to contrasting colors, rather than for aesthetics. I'm not capable of describing what I see, or don't see, when I look at the same screen that other people are looking at. What I suggest or request, is a coloring scheme for color blind people. Often times, my tabs will be nicely separated, and clearly visible, with each tab standing out - then I'll open a new tab which doesn't contrast. It just kind of blends in, sort of hidden. Of course, it's not really hidden - I can see the space, and read the text. But, it's less "visible" than the spaces to each side. And, oh yeah. One annoyance is that the active tab greys, instead of becoming brighter. When I go to close the tab, my eye is drawn to the more brightly colored tabs to either side, rather than the tab I mean to close. As you can see, my feature request is a little bit of nit-picking. I've been using colorful tabs for quite a long while now - it definitely helps very much. And, you would think that a color blind person is used to his condition after 50+ years, and he could cope with the little inconveniences. But - if I can point out a problem that some people have, maybe you can make it a better product yet. Forgive me if this problem has already been addressed. It's quite possible that I can change the behavior of the tabs from a menu, but I haven't found the right combination of settings. Thanks! And, thanks for making my computing experience more enjoyable!

It could be "Edit Config Files" which is used to edit userchrome.css. If there's anything in the userchrome.css that is related to the coloring of the tabs then please edit it. Other than that pleasego to ColorfulTabs options > General and ensure that the coloring scheme is NOT set to color on demand.
