I'm pleased to announce the beta preview of Binary Turf Forums. Before I let you go and take a look I recommend you read through and get equipped with the essential information to get started.Why a forum?In these days of CMS, blogs and wikis, forums sound like an outdated lot. However forums have stood the test of time and are a powerful tool to interact, share, provide support and build a community that shares the synergy amongst common interests. But if the word 'forum' sounded dull, let me assure you that its not - not these ones. I've taken out time and have worked on designing them for over a week now - to design it for ease of use and add that extra appeal of a web 2.0 design with beautiful icons (no I'm not inviting any arguments pertaining to web 2.0 : )The integrated search engine is a full featured Google powered Custom Search Engine which let's you harness all Google power to satiate your search needs. Just in case you need more you can go to the built in Advanced Search feature and needle search by topics and titles etc.Another Beta?After all the web design, development, configuration and time spent, I only found it apt to announce it as a beta lest something breaks and everyone cries foul. I'm still working on it and hopefully there will be better features implemented while we get some mods involved.PurposeThe primary intention is to invite and open communication with Firefox fans and ColorfulTabs and CuteMenus2 users thereby modularizing the content and subjects of the site. As and when and if time allows I'd like to extend this to provide tech support especially in the Windows operating systems domain and share my expertise and zest for technology.FeedbackNot the usual yada yada, I strongly urge you to report any issues to me or the admins and the mods.
