I am not a super techie and am unsure of which "Firefox Optimized Distributions" selection to make.

    I have:

    Dell 1526 Inspiron laptop
    Vista Home Premium OS
    FF3.03
    AMD 64 Athlon X2 CPU.

    Do I select SSE or SSE2 ?

    Thanks,

    You will need SSE2.

    Thanks for your assistance. :D

Hate to sound any dumber, but I believe the downloads are actual versions of FF that have been optimized, correct ? If so, I would have to duplicate any themes and extensions that are in my official release to clone functionality ?

Never mind I answered my own question after installation of SSE2. I got brave.

I am happy all the work does not have to be redone.

    Thanks !

    I have another question.

With SSE2 FF3.0.3 is the OS tweaked for performance or does it also address Internet settings ? In other words, are extensions like Fastfox needed ?

If there is a web page or document I can examine to gain a better understanding of SSE2 please let me know.

    Thanks again,

It is not tweaked for internet settings. It's tweaked for performance on your OS and Processor.

Are any of these versions for AMD processors?
