On Demand + Presets

    Could you add an option so that tabs not on your preset domain list default to transparent instead of a random color? There are certain sites I visit frequently that I like to have their own personal colors, but having every tab I open have its own distinct color is very distracting.

    Thanks =)

    Hello there, I was lookin' for the same thing, actually it has been only 15min. since I started to use ColofulTabs and I freaking love it... But without the option that lylei requested, it's really hard to recognize the websites.
    So please add an option so that tabs not on our preset domain list have a color that we can choose or a default transparent one...

    Thanks...

    This is in fact the exact thing I'm looking for as well. All "normal" looking tabs except the ones I've preset. Thanks! By the way I'm loving the add-on!

    The right way to do this is to (use regex) create a domain preset (must be the last one in the list of preset domain colors). The domain must be a dot (.) and for the color value type in "-moz-box". That way all tabs will retain their default color unless it matches a preset domain-color.

    Is the use of regex and userChrome.css explained somewhere?
    Are there good editors for these files? (not notepad.exe)
    I like pastel random colors to keep track of a long lineup of tabs but want to give the high priority tabs a topic or priority color with pizazz.

    For the not-so-technically-minded, could someone please explain how to do this? I tried going to ColorfulTabs settings and added a domain with just a dot (.). I added a -moz-box color value to it but it still doesn't work. EDIT: it just made all my tabs gray

    Certainly. The (.) should be the first entry in the domain list. And all other websites should follow after the first entry.
