I want to color the FireFox tabs on Window's taskbar
-
I want to be able to color the FireFox tabs on the Windows taskbar, not the tabs within the FireFox windows. Is this possible? I'm assuming it isn't, which is why I'm posting this note in the Feature Requests forum.
At any given time I may have 20 or more FireFox windows open. As an example, I would like to be able to right-click on the FF window tab that has the TV listings in it and give that tab a color so I can see it immediately when I want to look at the TV listings. Right now I find myself hunting for the right window because they are all the same color. (Please note that I have the Taskbar preview windows turned off because I find them visually distracting, and I don't want to turn them back on.)

That's not possible with ColorfulTabs. The color of the taskbar button is a windows feature.

Why not just use the tab feature in Firefox instead of multiple windows? The whole point of tabs is to not have multiple windows open.

I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION.

#4, He's saying he wants to customize the color of his firefox tabs with the colors from his Windows Shell dynamically...
Hard, and possible outside of colorful tabs... however all this could just be settled with a theme... ;[
