Color Fine-tuning reset won't 'reset'
-
Hi
Firefox 3.5.2
VistaI tried messing with fine-tune option, put in 10 and 10 which made tabs nearly black. Clicked RESET and checked 'enable fine-tune' which restored 60/73. But when I looked again my 10 10 had come back. I tried clicking OK (obviously!) and closing restarting FF but can't get back to default state with fine-tuning. I have now unchecked 'fine-tuning' and can work with the normal colors.
Any suggestions?
Phil

Verified Bug. Will be fixed in the next release.
- Meanwhile navigate to
"about:config" (without quotes). - Change the value of extensions.clrtabs.advanced to false.

Done that. What does it do?
Also now found that Preset changes won't stick either.
With Options/General/Generate colors at random, I then click Presets and check 'Enable Preset Domain colors'. This produces pop-up "Please select generate colors by Domain hostname" under "General", so I do that. Then back to Presets and check 'Enable Preset Domain colors'(it was unchecked by the pop-up). However, this just produces the same pop-up message. -
You'll need set it to "Generate colors by hostname" and save (Press the OK button) and open the options window again before it will let you "Enable the preset domain colors".
Silly but I'll find a better way to do this.
