unwanted installation tab

    I have installed Colourful Tabs on my Firefox browser - now every time I open Firefox I receive a tab that informs me that installation was successful. How do I stop this tab loading each time please? The address of the tab is http://ct.binaryturf.com/48161.htm and the message is Plugin Installation Successful Thanks

    That tab must have been stored in your session. Just close that tab and restart firefox. If that still happens, then you'll have to change your homepage setting. See if that url is in your homepage settings.

    Thanks for your reply - that does seem to be the problem - the tab was attached to my speeddial start page setting.

    I have the same problem, except that I have changed my homepage, made sure the url is not in the homepage settings, and restarted FireFox repeatedly. The installation page appears every time.

    Where else could this command be so I can destroy it?

    Can you please specifi which version of colorfultabs is installed? Also go to about:config and mention the value of the highlighted preference as in the attached screenshot.

    I am experiencing the same problem since I've upgraded to Firefox 4. I'm using Colourful Tabs version 4.8.1.6.2. I really like the add-on so I hope there is a solution to the problem soon or I will uninstall it.

    Please tell me how I can get rid of my tabs, they block my refresh and home buttons and I want them gone. PLEASE help. Thank you.

    I am using Colorful Tabs 8.0 on FF 8.0 under Win 7 Ultimate.

    My home page is about:blank. Every time I start Firefox, the first tab at left to open is a blank tab (i.e. my homepage) then another second tab opens to the update message "plugin Installed" from the URL http://ctab.binaryturf.com/80.htm.

    I have looked everywhere for the cause of this but cannot see the cause. It is an irritation that ruins an excellent Add-on.
