Conflict with Tab Mix Plus feature

    I am currently using Firefox 4.0.1 with Tab Mix Plus 0.3.8.6.

    In Tab Mix Plus OPTIONS Under DISPLAY/TAB/HIGHLIGHT/Customize Styles there is the option to change the text color of tabs - so that Current, Unread and Other Tabs have different TEXT colors. This worked quite well until recently I noticed that my Tab text was no longer colored. After some investigation, I discovered that it worked fine when I disabled Colorful Tabs. Something you have changed within the last few updates has disabled this feature in Tab Mix Plus. All four of us in my family use both extensions for Firefox and have the same problem, with different themes and OS, so I know it is a Colorful Tabs issue.

    I have included screenshots of my browser with Colorful Tabs enabled and disabled, so that you can see the difference.

    I LOVE my colorful tabs, but I also rely on the Tab Mix Plus Text color changes to help me know at a glance which tabs are which. Could you possibly make them work together again??

    It's the latest update. It has somehow created a conflict between Colorful Tabs and Tab Mix Plus.
    I get the same as you - I have TMP set up to show the current tab with red text. The most recent update has broken that - now all tabs are in black text. And if I disable Colorful Tabs, it all works again.
    So, unfortunately, Colorful Tabs is disabled until fixed. While the colored tabs are really nice - and I've been using CT since its very early days - the ability to highlight the text on the CURRENT tab by having it in red is much more important to me.
    Any chance of a fix sometime soon?

    I have found the same problem, my solution is to disable CT and have TMP colour all my tabs a nice shade of blue with bold black text except for the current tab which is gold with red text.Easy to see,no thin line, no problem.

    I have the same disappointment, but a different workaround while awaiting a fix. I use TMP to bold and underline the text on the current tab. Bold and underlining by TMP are still working when CT is enabled, even though text color is not.

    I started my own thread a while back with the same problem and I think Andy.c is right, no one gives a flying fart.

    My solution:-
    CT off, TMP settings back and get some userstyles for the tab colouring.

    A better 'workaround' is to go back to Colorful Tabs 4.8.1.5 - it works fine. The colors are back and it has all the really necessary features for me, at least. I don't know who is to blame, but I wish the developers of CT and Tab Mix Plus would get off their respective duffs and find out!!! They sure won't get any of their "donations" out of me until they get a little more responsive.
