I’m just back from vacation. It was a wonderful start but for the last few days I have been bored to death. So spending the weekend with my computer was quite exciting. After all these days I missed all your nice comments and compliments.
First things first. I caught up with all my mail and your comments. I built Firefox RC1 builds over the weekend and have now posted them to the builds page. They were remarkably faster on my machine. I also did some experimentation with the O2 parameter and ran a few benchmarks. It came out to be a dud. Ox implies O2 thus Ox builds were faster than O2 builds. I did put up a thread in the Mozillazine forums about the optimal parameters. As per MSDN the options “/GS”, “/Zc:wchar_t” and “/Zc:forScope” are ON by default.
I’m willing to experiment with various options provided someone can back the claims with some benchmarks. I have a pretty fast machine so everything is fast and the performance difference is marginal. Check out these builds and keep the feedback coming.

Is there an OSX compatible version to download?
I don’t have a Mac so really lack the information to build for Mac.
