Firefox 3.0.2 and 3.0.3 released too quickly one after the another. We keep a keen eye and saw it coming. Thus we are releasing Firefox 3.0.3 builds optimized for SSE and SSE2 processors. Mind you this time we chose to release the installers to simplify installation and upgrading. Firefox is a trademark and is copyrighted thus any custom builds of Firefox are referred to as unofficial builds and by default use a different branding. They are called Minefield by default.
You can get these builds from the software section. You may want to read the legend and decide upon the one that is optimised for your processor. Again the idea behind these builds is to provide you a build of Firefox which is optimized for your particular processor and which would run faster and better than the official builds. Check them out and do let us know how you find them.
