beer-drops FfChrome goes live on AMO

AMO stands for addons dot  mozilla dot org and is Mozilla's official site for hosting and distributing addons for various software. FfChrome went live on AMO during the weekend and registered hugh downloads within few minutes of going live. The version hosted at AMO is not a beta but is san updated version 1.4 with several bug fixes.

While all the users have enjoyed and found FfChrome useful there are some who have reported that FfChrome doesn't work and does not expand the menu when they click "Show All". A clarification is in order. FfChrome does not require a click to expand the menu. All you need to do is point your mouse over the "Show All" item in the menu and it expands the menus on the fly. We found this functionality to be useful since users would have been required to reopen the menu if they had to click "Show All". We eliminated ths extra procedure by replacing the click with a simple mouseover. You may also want to see a demonstration in a video of the same.

That said, you still should feel comfortable in reporting any issues you come across. All you need to do is search Binary Turf Forums for existing and resolved issues. In case the issue you are facing is unique and unresolved provide us the basic information about your operating system, version of FfChrome and other extensions you are using and create a new thread in the Binary Turf Forums and we shall assist you with the same.

Wonderful! I'd been dreaming of something like this for a long while… I've even been guilty of uninstalling extensions just to clear my context menu. Thanks Shivanand, this is terrific stuff - simple and elegant and long overdue. Congratulations!

I'm going to try it. Otherwise I rely on "Menu Editor" to just take out a few things I don't use, but then I use most of the things at some point so this "FfChrome" seems right up my alley. I'd be nice to only see the things I need when I need them, not just to keep the menu small, but to make it easier to browse to my selection on the spot.
