Contribute

I’ve decided to ask for your help to sustain my work and activities. Though I hesitated for years before putting this page up, I finally realized that this was the time I could really use some help. If this page bothers you, you may choose to skip to the next. If you want, click here to go to the bottom of the page.

I’m a full-time opensource (free software) developer and a blogger. All my work is totally free for use. Your contributions allow me to create the software that the masses download for free and allows me to host everything on a high traffic server so that it’s available to you round-the-clock. It allows me to run the support forums 24×7 and it pays for the roof over my head. But the time has come when I need to take this to the next level. I want to build more Firefox extensions and Wordpress plugins and themes. I have a multitude of plans and ideas and I want to realize them. And for this I don’t want monetary concerns to decide what I dedicate my time to or pull me back from innovating.

That said donations are simply donations. You are under no obligation to make a donation – you can continue reading and there will be no hard feelings either way. However if you feel that any of my many creations and works is worth $25 a year donation, and you are able to do so, please use the donation button below to make a $25 donation (that’s my suggested amount, but feel free to donate more or less – however much you are able to give me).

So if you will get all this for free, whether you donate or not, why should you do it? Here’s a Top 5 list:

  • If you like my work and find it valuable, you can give back a little for the time I’ve put into free software development and my blogs.
  • You are helping my family pay our bills, and my quest for debt elimination.
  • I will thank you (silently), in my moment of gratitude, each morning.
  • You will receive the satisfaction of knowing that you have done something good today.
  • I will be able to find more time and inclination to come up with more and better and be able to support it.
