As I mentioned yesterday, TheStasis is observing the CSS Naked Day. What you see today is the bare body of the site and all we did was take out one line of code that attaches the stylesheet to the site.

In fact today the site is as simple as it can get. This is how the search engine sees the site and tries to make an estimate of what's important and what's not. Let take an example of the sidebar. Usually it stands on the left but when we took of the stylesheet it appeared right below the header. The content was further down right before the footer. A search bot would interpret the usability of the site starting from the top giving the most priority to the words in the address bar, then the header and the sidebar (which shouldn't have been), followed by the content and finally the footer. This is a learning-day. I had to cut out the sidebar to force it after the content as the content should get the priority and not the sidebar. What say? And while we are at it do let me know how you like it. In basics or flashy?
