ColorfulTabs For SeaMonkey 2.0

November 30, 2009

So this is as far as I could manage today. Yes it’s ColorfulTabs on SeaMonkey 2.0. As you can imagine, during the initial stages of the design, the tabs felt flat and broken. I then placed subtle gradient so they looked more like the tabs in Firefox. The bottom strip of the tabs still was gray and took quite some time to be fixed. When the color of the bottom strip of the tab syncs with the tab-color, it gives it a solid, integrated feel. But that was just the beginning. Almost after 18 hours of non-stop coding I finally felt satisfied that it could almost pass for a professional build. But it’s yet to be tested on Linux and Mac. So any volunteers or those interested can drop a comment and I’ll make this build available. (BTW the dark areas in this image are photo-shopped to highlight the tab area in the screenshot).
