The following is a comparison of the productivity features of Fasterfox Firefox add-on.

Before: To search the selected text, you need to copy the text from the page and open new tab and open Google or other search sites, fill the word and press enter.

After: Just select the text and immediately icons of search engines appears as bubbles. When you hold it for few seconds (based upon the connection) it just opens the Wikipedia page for the selected word.

Before: To search in Google you need to open new tab and type the word and start to search.

After: Just press “CTRL+SPACE” and type the word in the search bar and start to search.

Apart from search this add-on also contains quick links to popular sites which you can view in a new tab when you click it.

Before: When you want to find any URL you need to open the search engine like Google and search it to find the URL.

After: Just type the name of the site and the site appears in the address bar like magic.

Before: To move to the next page in search result or older entries in blogs, you need to click next or older links and wait for few seconds (based upon your internet connection) to see the next page.

After: Just scroll down the page and immediately the next page loads in the same page.
