I'm pleased to announce the release of ColorfulTabs beta 3. This version is compatible with the beta2 and beta 3 versions of Firefox 3. The update features an enhancement long awaited.
The necessity to be able to easily recognize the active tab and to give the extension a look and feel that goes with today's operating systems and the Theme of Firefox 3 called for creativity and imagination. Thus a strong UI uplift to ColorfulTabs. The version includes theming the background of the tabs. This provides
- the ability to add a personal touch to the looks of the browser tabs.
- ability to set any background image of your choice… soft pink hearts, or a small cute kitty
- provides a glassy look and feel that goes with the UI of today.
- enhances the difference between the selected tab and the unselected tabs
I hope you like the release and enjoy the experience. In the coming days I'll try to create some documentation for the new users to assist them in setting up ColorfulTabs and to be able to utilize its potential effectively.
