About The Author

Shivanand Sharma is a professional and full-time blogger, a web developer and an editor at the Firefox Addons. He pursues his passions in singing, photography and technology. He spent his childhood playing with magnets, compasses, dry cell batteries doing science experiments and reading a lot of books ranging from the scientific to inspirational, spiritual, fiction and more. Later as things turned out to be, he fell in love with C++. That was just the beginning of his journey with computers.

He created Binary Turf (formerly TheStasis) in Sept 2007. He has worked as a Systems Engineer and in the domain of web technologies. He has spent over seven years as a technical expert in the field and has also developed several Firefox extensions while his other interests include singing, and topics related to science.
